We can't believe it's been two years already since

We can't believe it's been two years already since this amazing winter wedding!

Ella and Stephen chose the stunningly beautiful Tigh Na Mara lodge in Acharachle for their ceremony. Their closest friends and family (and dogs) gathered around the log fire to witness this amazing moment in their lives. Before the daylight faded they popped over to nearby Castle Tioram (one of our favourite venues - it's where Bog Cotton was actually born!).

The wintery sunset photographs alone were definitely worth the trip ♥️

When I decide to make a photograph black and white I always do it because I think it suits the image better. The vibrant pinks of the sea thrift look stunning in colour, but the subtle detail of Katherine's dress, and the shapes of the hills and dunes, are accentuated by the black and white treatment.

Torrential rain (more torrential that usual, even

Torrential rain (more torrential that usual, even for Scotland) couldn't put a damper on Chris and Sarah's #glencoelochan #elopement in October. We waited in our cars for the rain to pass for a wee while, but then decided just to open our umbrellas and go for it. We found a nice spot in the shelter of an ancient tree where Chris and Sarah made their vows to each other in the serene atmosphere of the Lochan. It was certainly very wet, but oh so romantic ♥️
